Paula S. Stone, Executive Director of The Stone Institute LLC and author of Therapeutic Reflexology: A Step-by-Step Guide to Professional Competence, will attend the Alliance for Massage Therapy Education (www.AFMTE.org) conference July 18-20, 2013. The theme of the conference is Creating a Culture of Teaching Excellence.
According to AFMTE.org, the “focus for our 2013 Conference is on how we will create a culture of teaching excellence in the coming years. This important meeting will bring together directors and administrators from massage therapy schools, along with massage school teachers and those who provide continuing education seminars and advanced training in our field.”
The AFMTE conference is July 18-20, 2013 at the St Charles Convention Center, in St Charles, MO. Ms. Stone will attend as a professional member AFMTE and an author. “I am looking forward to establishing and deepening relationships with those whose mission in life is to facilitate others towards better health,” said Ms. Stone.
“AFMTE brings together educators for a common goal,” said Ms. Stone. “This conference, I predict, will be a turning point for those working in massage and wellness education, as well as reflexology. ”
Ms. Stone will attend the “Meet the Authors” event Friday evening from 5:30-6:30. “It will be a wonderful and relaxed venue to meet leading authors and thinkers in the field of wellness education,” said Ms. Stone.
